Its primary mission is to extend higher education prospects to residents in the Bexar County community and its neighboring areas.

This remarkable Alamo Colleges facility covers an area of 86,000 square feet and offers additional space for science and engineering courses, study areas, academic support, and a versatile third-floor multipurpose room. Its main objective is to provide higher education opportunities for individuals in the Bexar County community and its surrounding areas.

Alamo Colleges District and Palo Alto College ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Southside Education and Training Center (SETC). The nearly 49,000-square-foot facility will serve as the home for Palo Alto College’s new nursing program, the Ready to Work initiative, and more. Built on land provided by Southside Independent School District, it is also part of the Alamo Colleges education & training centers, designed to increase access to higher education services for residents of underserved sectors of Bexar County.
