A Look at SAC's Scobee Education Center
Since the Scobee Planetarium opened its doors in 1961, two million San Antonio school children and community members have learned about stars, planets, black holes and distant galaxies. Much has changed since then.It's newest edition opened in October 2014, the Scobee Education Center, dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults alike by fostering a love of science and astronomy through hands-on and minds-on experiential education.Today you get an inside look at the all-ages experience of our own little piece of space here in San Antonio, Scobee Education Center!

- 0:54SAC Early Childhood CenterThe San Antonio College Early Childhood Center provides childcare services for SAC students, staff, faculty, and community according to our eligibility requirements. The San Antonio College Early Childhood Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. In the spring of 1986, the Center became the first NAEYC accredited center in San Antonio and has continually been accredited. The center is licensed by Texas Health and Human Services and is also a Texas School Ready participant and a Texas Rising Star Provider- 4 Star Level with the City of San Antonio.
